Catlin.

After 2 years of college, Johanne served in the Woman’s Army Corp for 2 years in Tokyo, Japan for 2 years and when discharged, completed college and graduate school at the University of Connecticut where she earned a Master’s degree.

During that time she married John “Jack” Guy Dickinson Sr. in 1956 and moved to Wilmington, DE where Jack had a job with the DuPont Company.  They had three children and while raising the children, Johanne worked at the Alfred I. Johanne had a lifelong passion for music having played the piano for her entire life, encouraging her grandchildren to participate in the Suzuki Music program and being actively involved in the Music School of Delaware.

In lieu of flowers, Johanne would like donations to go to the Music School of Delaware to continue to promote a love of music.
