John Joseph McGaurn, Sr.

John J. McGaurn Sr. (affectionately known as “Tim” by most), was born in Blenheim, NJ, son of Joe and Mary, where he was raised most of his young life.  He enlisted in the Army at 17, and following had a number of successful jobs in sales.  At 23, he met his soon to be wife, Delsie.  They married in 1954.  Together they established Delcrest Medical Products, the business where they would both spend the rest of their working years.  Tim and Delcrest were very successful, and he took much pride in employing many people through the years. 

Tim and Delsie were fortunate to reside in Wenonah, NJ, while also having a home in Ocean Cit, NJ for many years.  Eventually they retired to Vero Beach, FL, where they would spend most of their retirement years.  At the time of Delsie’s death in 2022, they were lovingly married for 68 years.

Tim is survived by his son, John Jr., his wife, Susan and daughter, Erica. In addition, his daughter, Linda Stecher, son-in-law, Dave, granddaughter, Ashley and granddaughter, Chrissy Ralston, her husband Dylan, and his great-granddaughters, Claire (3) and Goldie (1).

Tim will be remembered fondly by all the friends and family whose lives he touched over so many years. 

He passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 95.
