John Joseph Rotteveel

It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of John Joseph Rotteveel on August 4, 2025. 

He is survived by his three children, Leontien, Mirjam and Sebastian; his wife, Janneke. Pop did what he loved being owner/operator at his family business, Chadds Ford Greenhouses. He shared his warm kindness unconditionally with everyone he met and was always there to lend a helping hand. He was a builder, grower, avid fisherman, a true MacGyver and jack of all trades. 

While his strong wishes were to be cremated with no viewing or traditional ceremony.

We will be having a “Celebration of Life” here at the Chadds Ford Greenhouses on August 30, 2025 from 3-6 pm. Food and drinks will be provided. 

This is open to anyone and everyone who would like to come celebrate John’s life❤️
