I am Bill and Mary Findley's daughter- Edna Findley was my God Mother- I now life in Nottingham, after years of living in Wilmington. I remember Aunt Blanche and Uncle Johnny, many visits to their house, their Boxers, and them speaking of there children- I believe my Mom and Day use to show on 52 where you once lived- I believe it is now next to the nursery. I am sorry for your loss. I now have very little family so I wanted to make myself known to your family- My parents are buried in Longwood Cementary, by Aunt Edna, Uncle John, and my grandparents- maybe when I visit Joe's resting plan is near there. please accept my condolences. Carol Findley Rifon- 110 Robinhill Drive, Oxford, PA 19363- hope to hear from you.

Elsie, Jay, and John:

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.   Joe will always be with us in our hearts and memories.   All the banquets, meetings and get togethers at the fire house.   As well as all our mutual friends that we shared through Longwood Gardens.
He will be missed by all that knew him and was always loved and looked up to by many.

Elsie, Jay, John, and family:

My sympathy for your loss. I lost my own father a few years ago, so I know that however much you realize the inevitability of what is coming, it doesn't make the pain any less when it finally comes to pass. Joe was a great guy. I only met him a few times, when I would come to visit Jay and Janet (my sister) in Pennsylvania, but he always put me at ease with his friendliness and his wicked sense of humor!

What a pity that all of us, are--temporary--but maybe it's that very quality that makes human life so precious. We're all living on borrowed time, but if you leave this world leaving a legacy of loving friends and family behind; then you've spent your limited time on Earth wisely.
