Kara Anne Ulatowski Obituary
Kara (Canavan) Ulatowski of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on April 19, 2026.
A story of enduring love defined by her forty-year marriage to her husband, Terrance (Terry) Ulatowski. Their journey began as high school sweethearts with a first date in 1977. Together, they built a life rooted in devotion and commitment.
Kara’s greatest pride was her family. she was the devoted mother of three sons; Evan, Neil and Gerry; grandmother to Teddy, who brought her great joy. Kara loved traveling, family, sports, watching her son’s games and saying, “Where’s Terry?”
One of eight children, Kara remained the social director of the Canavan family and a great friend to her nieces. She is survived by her brothers; Brendan, John (Jackie) and Neil (Heather) Canavan; sisters: Mary (Tom) Lederer, Eileen (Keith) Davis and Megan Natale. She also leaves behind a large circle of nieces and nephews who will remember her as the fun aunt as well as her sisterhood of high school friends, and countless friends through the years.
Kara was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Cecilia Canavan and her brother, Patrick Canavan.
Those who knew Kara will remember her for her strength and humor. Her life was a testament to the power of family and the beauty of a love that lasts a lifetime.
