Kathleen Minch Obituary

Kathleen Eleanor Minch, resident of ACTS Country House in Greenville Delaware since 2014, passed away on May 21, 2021. Born in Trenton New Jersey, was a life long area resident.  A graduate of Cathedral Girls High School, Temple University with a B.S. Degree and Columbia University with a M.A. Degree. 

Retired as a teacher from the Trenton Board of Education after 41 years of service.  Held memberships in the following organizations, National Education Association, New Jersey Retired Education Association, Mercer County Retired Education Association, Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, Gamma Chapter, The Trenton College Club, Branch of AAUU ( American Association of University Women) and the Boheme Opera Guild.  Served on Several Boards, Camp Fire Girls, Friends of Trenton Library and People to People.  Was a life long member of the Immaculate Conception Parish and member president of the Ladies of the Blessed Sacrament.  

Daughter of the late James J. Sr. and Loretta T. (Wagner) Minch.  She is pre-deceased by her brother the late James J Minch Jr. of Ewing NJ, She is survived by her sister, Mary E. (Betty) Funari originally from Yardley, PA; nephews and nieces, Dr. Godfrey Joel Funari and wife, Mary of Glen Mills, PA, Gregg J. Funari and wife, Debra of West Chester, PA, Dr Gary J. Funari and wife, Dr. Isabella Funari of Potomac, MD, James Minch III and wife, Debbie of Ewing, NJ, Thomas Minch and wife, Karen of Villas, NJ, Joseph Minch and wife, Dora of Yardville, NJ, Michael Minch and partner, Karen of Langhorne, PA and Kathleen Minch Raisani and husband, Kamal of CA.  

Grand Nieces and Nephews, Mary Kate, Jessica, Catherine, Krista, Katharine, Mark, Jennifer, Kelly, James, Rashad, Jabbar, Joseph, Steffy and Maria as well as Great Grand Nieces and Nephews, Christopher, William, Jarrad, Jackson, Keeva, Brayln, Evie and Matilda.

A viewing will be from 9:00AM until 10:00AM with a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM on Thursday, June 3, 2021at St. Joseph of the Brandywine Catholic Church, 10 Old Church Road, Wilmington, Delaware.

Entombment will be at 11:00AM on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, 400 Woolsey Street, Trenton, New Jersey.
