Kenneth Brown Obituary

Kenneth R. Brown, 84, of West Grove, PA, lost his sudden and brief battle with lung cancer and passed peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2020.

Ken is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, Jeffrey Brown and Sharon Golding and granddaughters, Rhiannon and Melissa Golding.

Ken Brown drove a truck for most of his working life, but those who knew him will tell you that he was so much more.  He was a humble and steadfast man, always doing things for others.  He was a builder and a fixer.  He was a talker, and loved talking and listening to people everywhere. He was the best husband, father and grandfather that one could wish for.  Above all, Ken was faithful and true to his Lord Jesus Christ, to whom he would have given credit for the good that he did and all that he accomplished.  All who knew him will miss him dearly.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation in Ken's name to: Willowdale Chapel Care fund, Jennersville Campus.  https://willowdalechapel.ccbchurch.com/goto/giving

{note: select "Jennersville" and then "Care Fund"}

If a check is preferred, please send via mail to: Willowdale Chapel and write "Care Fund" on the memo line: Willowdale Chapel, 111 Vineyard Way, West Grove, PA 19390

Note from the Family:

Friends & Family-

We’ve made every effort to work something out, but due to the COVID situation we’ve simply been unable to arrange the type of church service and gathering that we’d want for Dad, or one where we could be certain all those attending would be comfortable.  For this reason, we’re opting for a small graveside service for immediate family only.  We’re confident that Dad has gone to be with the Lord, and that he wouldn’t want a big fuss being made over him anyway.

We regret that we won’t be able to see everyone as soon as we’d like, but we’re thankful for the outpouring of love and support that we’ve received from so many of you in the past few days and weeks.

With Love,
Kathy, Jeff & Sharon
