Lauressa McNemar

Lauressa J. McNemar, age 67 of Chester County, Pennsylvania died peacefully at her home on December 8, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

Lauressa attended Downingtown High School and was a Penn State graduate earning her degree in environmental engineering.  She enjoyed being on the Board of Supervisors in Pocopson Township and on the Board of the Red Clay Creek Alliance.  Lauressa also enjoyed working the political polls on election days.  Some of her hobbies were gardening, sewing, painting and most recently crocheting little critters for her granddaughter and great nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Glenn L McNemar of whom they enjoyed 38 years of marriage; her parents, Willie and Laura Jones and her brother, David Jones.

She is survived by two sons, Glenn McNemar, Jr. and Bradley McNemar (Ashley); her pride and joy granddaughter, Freya for whom she loved so dearly.  Lauressa also survived by her siblings Debby, Nancy, Brad, Jeff (Jill), Mark (Debby), Katrice (Richard) and Jennifer (Dave).  She was the beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews and will be missed dearly by many.
