Obituary

*THE FAMILY HAS ANNOUNCED THAT DUE TO THE CONTINUED POWER OUTAGE IN THE BOROUGH, THE VISITAION & MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR LINDA ARE CANCELLED FOR FRIDAY, JULY 19, 2024.  THERE WILL NOT BE A RE-SCHEDULED DATE*

Linda Anne Broomall {nee. Casillo}, a beloved wife, mother, and "Mimi", passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024, at the age of 57 of Leukemia.  She was surrounded by family and friends.  Linda’s vibrant spirit and loving nature touched the lives of everyone she met.

Linda shared 35 beautiful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Scott Broomall, whom she met during college at Lock Haven University. Together, they built a loving family, which was her greatest joy.  Linda was a devoted mother to Kaitlyn Stair of Kennett Square, PA, and Scotty Broomall of Denver, CO.  She adored her grandchildren, Cecilia and Josephine of Kennett Square, who brought immense happiness to her life.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Ester Casillo and father in law, Alexander (Bud) Easler.  Her memory and vivacious spirit will continue to be cherished by her father, Fred Casillo, and mother in law, Doranne Easler.  She is survived by her husband, Scott; children, Kaitlyn and Scotty; grandchildren, Cecilia and Josephine.  She is the cherished sister of Cricket Casillo of St. Petersburg, Florida and Nicole Myers of Reading, Pennsylvania; sister in law of Alison Riegel (Ken) of Lake Tahoe, California and their children and grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.

She was a beloved and gifted teacher who impacted the lives of children for over 30 years.  Linda devoted her career to Avon Grove School District and touched the lives of many.

Linda had a passion for entertaining family and friends by the pool, and her home was always filled with laughter, warmth, and goodie bags.  Her smile could light up a room.  Linda’s love of Taylor Swift, Amazon and Hallmark (paired with a glass of chardonnay, of course) embodies the brightness that she brought to all of those around her.

Services will be private by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the education funds of her two granddaughters.  Donations can be sent via Venmo @Scott-Broomall (last four digits 2904) which will be distributed evenly to Cecilia and Josephine education funds.
