Lois Shirley Haldeman of Avondale, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Friday, April 18, 2025 at Pine View Healthcare in Broomall.  She was 81 years old.

Born on June 27, 1943 in Staten Island, New York, Lois was the daughter of James Alfred Palisay and Herta Herold Palisay.

She was the beloved mother of Wendy Adair and the late Keith Haldeman; sister of Robert Palisay and Jane Dundon; grandmother of Alec Haldeman, Abrianna Haldeman and Addison Haldeman.

A graduate of the Bellevue-Mills Schools of Nursing, Division of NYU School of Medicine, Lois was a registered nurse in critical care for many years at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, New York before retiring.  She was an active member at St. Michael Lutheran Church in Kennett Square.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a memorial service at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at St. Michael Lutheran Church, 109 East Doe Run Road, Kennett Square.  Burial will be private.

Please omit flowers for the church service memorial due to allergies from seasonal flowers of some of the attendees.  Consider a memorial donation in Lois' name to St. Michael Lutheran Church.
