Obituary

Margaret “Peggy” Jordan Musser, age 83, of Unionville, died Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Born on September 24, 1941 in Newlin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Isaiah Jordan and Sarah Hertzler Jordan.

Peggy spent her childhood years in Mortonville, PA and graduated from Unionville High School in 1960. She married Harry W. Musser in 1961 with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. They had two children, Dean and Kelly who they raised in Unionville.

Peggy was employed at Tri-M Corp for 37 years and was a longtime member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and later Westminster Presbyterian Church.  She enjoyed her summer vacations at the Jersey Shore and in the Outer Banks of NC.  An avid Phillies fan, she would spend her summer evenings watching them on TV.   Peggy delighted in the beauty of nature in the birds, fox and deer that lived in her backyard. She was also a 50 plus year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  But most of all she loved and enjoyed her grandchildren.  She never missed an opportunity to go spend time with them or watch their sports or school activities.

She was the beloved wife of Harry Musser for 63 years; mother of Dean Musser  (Ellen) and Kelly Keeley (Brian); grandmother of Claire Gramlich (Chris), Stephen Musser, Meg Cooper (Ben), Elizabeth Geating (Hayden) and Nicholas Keeley (Becky); great-grandmother of Zeke, Ellie & Georgia Geating, Teddy, Tommy & Paul Gramlich, Amelia & Emma Keeley, and baby Cooper on the way.  She is also survived by her sister Nancy Hanway and many beloved nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Paul Jordan, Edward Jordan, Helen Boyle, Jack Jordan and I.
