Marino Thomas "Tom" Plebani, Jr. of Kennett Square, PA passed away on August 28, 2023. He was 83 years old. A life long resident of Chester County, Tom was the son of the late Marino Thomas Plebani, Sr. and Grace Arrowhead Plebani.
Tom was exceptional in everything he did and those he did for. He could make and do anything. He was a top machinist at Scott Paper for many years before retiring to his life and love for fly fishing, fly tying, hunting, wood working projects of all kinds, artistic creations with all metals and materials, the property and yard where he loved to tinker and attend to his vegetable and flower garden's endless production. He packed it all into retirement! Most of all, Tom's generosity, decency, compassion for others and his wonderful sense of humor to everyone he came in contact with or may have known for many years will sorely be missed.
Tom is survived by his love, companion and fiancée, Florence "Floss" Ciliberto; father of Dinnette Finney; grandfather of Megan Dentremont (Scott) and his siblings, David Luke Plebani and Marietta Plebani Crosson.
A viewing will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square. A graveside service will follow in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342. A celebration of life luncheon will follow the graveside service at the RED CLAY ROOM, 423 Dalmatian St, Kennett Square, PA 19348.
Tom has requested that NO flowers be sent. His wish was that donations in his memory be made to only the BUILDING FUND of White Clay Creek Fly Fishers {http://www.whiteclayflyfishers.org/}
