Marjorie "Marge" Maxton

Marge Maxton passed away at her home as she wished on Monday, August 11, 2025 with her sons by her side.  She was 79 years old.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Maxton who passed in 2018.  She is survived by her sons, Rick Maxton (Sarah) and Dan Maxton (Stefania); grandchildren, Ryan Maxton, Dylan Maxton, Colin Schaeffer and Brandon Maxton.  She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Dorothy Simpson.

Visitation with the family will be from 9:30AM to 10:30AM with a funeral service at 10:30AM on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  Burial will follow in Philadelphia Memorial Park.
