Matilda "Mattie" Franzitta

Matilda J. Franzitta of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025.  She was 88 years old.  Born on November 23, 1936 in New York City, she was the daughter of Anthony Franzitta and Violet Marano Franzitta.

She was the beloved sister of Linda Wawrzonek, Anthony Franzitta, Jr. and the late Jack Franzitta; aunt of Kimberly Kenyon, Michael Drew, Kathryn & Brent Gibson, Alexandra Wawzonek, Lori & Tom Adami, Donna & Joseph Pace, Lisa & Vincent D’Aquino, Jack Franzitta Jr., CJ & Brenna Franzitta, Nicholas Franzitta and Marisa Christensen; great aunt of Andrew Chegia, Ryan Chegia, Julia Kenyon, Cameron Gibson, Christopher Adami, Christian Pace, Anthony Pace, Nicholas D’Aquino, Matthew D’Aquino, Eva Franzitta, and Mia Franzitta, Gabriella Franzitta, Sophia Christensen and Dylan Christensen

Visitation with the family will be from 11:00AM until 12:00PM with a memorial service to follow at 12:00PM on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.  Burial will be private
