Dr. Michael Osei-Mensah

Dr. Michael Osei-Mensah was born in Ghana where he spent his childhood and received his secondary education. In his further pursuit of knowledge he studied at universities in Russia, Germany, and the United States, earning his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
Over the years, he taught at several universities in the Philadelphia and Delaware area. He had a deep passion for teaching, nurturing, and encouraging his students to develop their fullest potential.
He is survived by his wife of more than 58 years, his children (Katarina , Kenneth), and his grandchildren (Joshua, Zachary, Matthew, Kylie, Akua, Nana Akosua, Adwoa, Kwame)
He is also survived by his siblings, Victoria, Jacob and Grace. Also survived by his nieces and nephews in Ghana, Canada and in the United Kingdom.
A private memorial gathering will be held at our home to celebrate life of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and a good friend.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Pocopson Home in West Chester, PA where he spent last two years of his life.
