Obituary

Morgan Ashley Simmons went home into the arms of our Lord and Savior on April 21, 2026.

Morgan was dearly loved by her family and friends, and her warmth made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, easily making friends wherever life took her. Free-spirited and adventurous, Morgan embraced new experiences and allowed her curiosity and courage to guide her on many journeys.

Above all, Morgan was a caring and devoted mother to her beloved son, Chandler. She loved him with her whole heart and worked tirelessly to give him the best life possible. Her love extended beyond her family to all living things especially her cherished cat, Zelda.  She had a deep compassion for animals and those in need.

Morgan found joy in music and self-expression, often attending concerts.   She enjoyed time at the beach, swimming, riding roller coasters, sharing meals, especially Mexican food and creating memories with friends. She also loved to color, finding peace and creativity in the simple moments.

Morgan loved God and found ways to share that love with others. She often placed little Jesus statues wherever she went, spreading the love and hope we have in Jesus.

Known for her big heart, Morgan saw the good in everyone and was always attuned to the emotions of those around her. She stood firmly for what she believed in and sought to uplift others in any way she could. Her infectious smile and contagious laughter could brighten any room and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Morgan attended Unionville and Avon Grove schools and graduated from Oxford Area High School in 2019.

Her spirit, love, and light will live on in the hearts of those who loved and knew her.

She is survived by her son, Chandler David Simmons; her mother, Krista Simmons of West Grove, Pennsylvania; her father, Brian Simmons (Nichola Simmons) of Elkton, Maryland; her siblings Riley Simmons and Anna Simmons; her step-siblings, Thomas Sanchez, Antonio Sanchez, Victor Sanchez and Jacquelyn Montejo; her grandparents, Jeannette Bergstrom (the late Rev. David Bergstrom ) of West Grove, Pennsylvania and Theresa and Mike Ogino of Oxford, Pennsylvania.  Also survived by many aunts, uncles and family.

Visitation will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a memorial service at 11:00AM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Avondale Presbyterian Church, 420 Pennsylvania Avenue, Avondale, Pennsylvania.

Burial will be private.

John 10:27-30

My sheep recognize my voice, I know them, and they follow me.  I give them eternal life, and they will never perish.  No one can snatch them away from me.  For my father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else.  So no one can take them from me.  The Father and I are one.”
