Nancy Jane Colligan of Cochranville, Pennsylvania passed away on August 2, 2025 with her family by her side. She was 82 years old. Born in Watertown, Jefferson County New York, she was the daughter of the late Leroy Mahon and the late Phyllis Heise Mahon.
Nancy was an active member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary for over 60 years where she enjoyed serving the community. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her home was always open to visitors. She fostered several feral cats but most of all, she loved the companionship of her dog, Beau Duke.
She was the beloved mother of Brian Colligan (Melissa), Barbie Needham (Arthur) and Belinda Solway (Keith); grandmother of Jessica Edenfield Berean, Tonya Schuler, Jennifer Vogel, Michael Colligan, Casondra Rettig, Carley Nevarez, Bryant Colligan, Derek Needham and Brianna Colligan; great grandmother of 14 and a great great grandchild; sister of Gerald Mahon (Cheri), the late Curtis Mahon (Marianne), Bruce Mahon, Donna Brown (Ernie), Lori Funk (the late Gerald) and Terry Mahon.
A graveside service will be at 3:00PM on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at Dexter Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Dexter, New York 13634. A celebration of life will follow at the American Legion, 101 Washington Street, Brownville, NY 13615.
