Patricia (Patti) R. Cramp, beloved wife of Thomas (Tom) Charles Cramp, of Kennett Square, Pa, passed away on Friday, April 25th at her home.
Born to Frederick William Wilson and Margaret Mary (Rodgers) Wilson of Edgemont, Pa, Patti grew up on a small horse farm, where she developed a love for animals. She enjoyed horseback riding and spent countless hours caring for animals on the farm. After completing her education, Patti worked as an insurance agent for more than 40 years, where she formed numerous personal and professional friendships.
Patti and Tom shared a beautiful and loving marriage, filled with joy and mutual respect. Together, they created a warm and welcoming home, where laughter and love were ever-present. Their bond was a testament to true partnership and happiness.
Patti was also a dedicated and loving mother to Kevin Roberts (wife Jenna), Meghan McQuiston (husband Tim), and Jason Cramp (wife Erica). She took enormous pride in her children and fervently supported them in all of their endeavors. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering commitment to her family were evident in every aspect of her life.
Patti was a doting grandmother to Rylie (19), Charlotte (18), Morgan (15), Harry (15), Samantha (12), Nolan (3), and Connor (1). She found immense joy in spending time with them, attending their lacrosse, soccer, and t-ball games and tennis matches. She also enjoyed strolling Longwood Gardens with the children and was always delighted to bake a fresh batch of cookies with them.
Patti had a competitive spirit and passion for racquet sports. She enjoyed playing racquetball, tennis, paddle, and pickleball with friends and family. She spent many joyful summers in Ocean City, NJ, enjoying Brighton Beach with family. Her favorite things included relaxing with a good book, visiting the boardwalk with children and grandchildren, and watching fireworks from the beach. During the winter months, Patti enjoyed weekend trips to the Poconos or Kilington, VT, where she enjoyed skiing with family.
Patti is survived by her husband, Thomas Charles Cramp, and her siblings Susan Kohr and Gerald Wilson. She was predeceased by her brother William (Bill) Wilson.
