Paul Pennington

William Paul Pennington of West Grove, Pennsylvania passed away at his home after a brief illness on Friday, October 28, 2022.  He was 70 years old.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, he was the son of the late Ephraim R. Pennington and the late Mattie Osborne Pennington.  

He was a 1970 graduate of Kennett High School.  After graduation, Paul worked in the plumbing trade with various contractors.  In 1985, he went on to work for West Chester University as a Maintenance Foreman in charge of the dormitories.  In 2000, he retired from the University due to health issues. 

Paul will be remembered for his sense of humor and big smile.  He loved spending time with family and friends. Paul loved  hiking and especially fly fishing in the Poconos.  Paul enjoyed  watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.    

Paul will be deeply missed by his wife Paula and all who knew and loved him.

He was the beloved husband of Paula Crossman Pennington for 45 years; brother of Curtis Pennington (Sandy) of Downingtown, PA, Jannett Pennington Caldwell (David) of Avondale, PA and Regina Pennington of West Chester, PA; brother-in-law of Annette Pennington of Oxford, PA; uncle of many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by siblings, Ephraim Pennington and Gary Pennington.

Visitation with the family will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a memorial service at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREAMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  Burial will be private.
