Paula Reigart Belt

Paula Reigart Belt, Age 78, of Eldersburg, Maryland passed away peacefully on February 25, 2020 surrounded by her loving family.

Paula was born in York, Pennsylvania to the late Dr. Paul McDowell Reigart and the late Mary Donnelly Reigart of York.

Paula met the love of her life, David Belt, while living in Baltimore, Maryland and they were married on October 26,1963.  Her husband, David and sisters, Nancy Learned and Mary Anne Reigart predeceased her.
Paula attended American University.  She was a lifetime volunteer for the community and an active member of Roland Park Presbyterian Church.  She volunteered at the GBMC Nearly New Sale, the Board of Lady Managers, Roland Park Women’s Club and the Little Flower Garden Club.  She enjoyed attending the Symphony, the Opera and musical theatre, traveling with her husband, gardening and playing golf and tennis.  Paula spent many happy days at the family summer cottage, “The River”, where she enjoyed her grandchildren and going out on their boat.

Paula will be remembered for her passion for life and her devotion to her family and friends.

Paula was married to David Hickman Belt for over 40 years.  Paula is survived by her children, Donald (Barbara) and Cynthia (Craig) Bomhardt and 6 grandchildren: Sarah, Caitlin, Rachel, Jacob, Kylie and Samantha.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at ROLAND PARK PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 4801 Roland Avenue., Baltimore, MD.  Visitation with the family will be AT THE CHURCH from 10:00AM to 11:00AM only. 

Burial will follow the funeral service in Druid Ridge Cemetery. 
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Roland Park Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
