Phillip Carter Doty of Avondale, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 6, 2016.  He was 24 years old.

Phillip was the beloved son of David Carter Doty and Catherine Amelia Doty (nee Lynn); brother of Richard William Doty and Amelia Christine Doty; fiance of Katherine Anne Banister; grandson of the late Warren Doty, the late Nancy Doty, the late Richard Lynn and Christine Lynn; nephew of Eric Lynn (Sang Hee), Peter Lynn, Evangeline Lynn Callard and Steven Doty; cousin of Erika Lynn-Green, William Calland, Robert Lynn-Green, Julia Calland, Leonard Lynn, Edward Lynn, Taylor Doty and Spencer Doty.  Also survived by  his service dog, Phineus.

AA was the most important organization that Phillip engaged with.  He was also involved with the Baltimore Yearly Meeting Camping Program.  Phillip was a talented and gifted musician, singer and songwriter.  He will be missed by all who ever knew him.

A memorial meeting will be at 3:00PM on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at KENNETT FRIENDS MEETING HOUSE, 125 West Sickle Street, Kennett Square, PA 19348.  Visitation with the family will follow the memorial at 4:30PM.
