Rachel Diana Reeves-Blevins of Oxford, Pennsylvania passed away, surrounded by her husband, Charles Blevins; her sister, brother and family at the Chester County Hospital on July 7, 2024. She was 54 years old. Born in Wilmington, Delaware on January 31, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Rufus (Ted) and the late Reba Barker Reeves.
Rachel was a 1988 graduate of Kennett High School. She was employed by Chester County Cardiology Associates. Previously, Rachel worked for Ware Presbyterian Village and for Dr. George Henry for many years. She had a love for animals, especially dalmations and boxer dogs, having many champion wins when showing and her years of raising.
She was the beloved wife of the love of her life, Charles Blevins; sister of Roxana Singer (Jeffrey, Sr.), Ralph Reeves (Amy); sister in law of Antonio Perez, Sr., Iris Angie Fazio (Michael) and Eric Blevins; daughter in law of Luis Perez. Rachel had no children of her own. She said, "her nieces and nephews are my children". She was the beloved aunt of, Jeffrey Singer, Jr.,(Anna), Matthew Singer (Michelle), Allison Brown (Andrew), Jake Reeves (Meghan), Devin Reeves (Courtney), Brianna Perez-Beideman (Joseph, Sr.), Kristina Brooks (Darius) and Antonio Perez, Jr. Great aunt of Colton and Dylan Brown, Joseph and Scarlet Reeves, Ava Rhoades, Joseph, Jr. and Niko Beideman and Armani Brooks; niece of Dana Barker. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Reeves.
A viewing will be from 2:00PM until 3:30PM with a funeral service at 3:30PM by Rev. Robert Vannoy on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square. Burial in Union Cemetery will be held privately.
