Rebecca “Becky” Jane Veronica Zurawski Shelton of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, June 25, 2026.  She was 57 years old.

Born in Chester, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Edward Zurawski and the late Sophie Letnainczyn Zurawski.  Becky attended St. Hedwig Grade and Middle School, Cardinal O’Hara High School and Delaware County Community College.  It was at DCCC, where she met her future husband, Steven Shelton of Unionville.  They were married in 1988 and began their family.  Becky was a valued employee and cherished by the regulars at Landhope Farms, where she will be missed.  She was an avid member of the Scouts of America.  Becky was a food connoisseur in preparing, sharing and partaking in all her special recipes.  She enjoyed bird watching, knitting, painting, trivia, reading of sci-fi fantasy and teaching arts and ceramics.  Most importantly, Becky was a devout Catholic, where she instilled these mores and values through scripture to her children.

Becky was the beloved wife of Steven Shelton, mother of Joseph Richard, Amanda Jane, Stephanie Lee and Aaron James, grandmother of Cristopher Castano-Vergara, Evangeline Castano-Vergara and Eloise Shelton; sister of Karen Aldins, Lawrence Zurawski and Edward Zurawski, Jr.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings Gail Zurawski and Richard Zurawski.

Services will be private.
