Richard "Dick" Musser

Richard D. Musser, age 88, of Unionville, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Chester County Hospital surrounded by his loving family. 

Richard (Dick) was born on January 9, 1938, the middle son of the late Wilmor G. Musser and the late Ethel Thomas Musser.  On October 7, 1962, he married the love of his life, Doris A. Woods.  Together, they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage, creating a beautiful family and special memories along the way – camping trips, snowmobiling, fun times around their family pool, vacations with their grandchildren and special holiday celebrations.   Dick also enjoyed antique tractors and cars and was often seen at local shows & community fairs.

Dick was a resident of Unionville most of his life.  He attended Unionville Chadds Ford High School and proudly served in the United States Army. 

He worked for several years as a shipper for Schramm Inc, in West Chester, PA.  He later worked for several electrical contractors in the area until joining his brother, Thomas Musser, and co-founded The Tri-M Group, LLC in 1964 where he remained until retirement. 

Dick was a man of strong faith and regularly attend Unionville Presbyterian Church. He often devoted his time to help with church projects.  He was a generous man and enjoyed doing for others.   Those who knew Dick appreciated his quick sense of humor and storytelling.   He was often seen in local restaurants where he enjoyed visiting with his many friends.

Dick leaves behind a life well-lived.  He is survived by wife Doris; son Richard D. Musser, Jr. (Kelly); daughter Deborah A. Crosson; grandsons David M. Crosson and Kyle R. Crosson.  He will always be remembered as a devoted husband and very loving father and grandfather.

A viewing will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a funeral service at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 11, 2026 at the Unionville Presbyterian Church, 815 Wollaston Road, Kennett Square.  Burial will follow in Unionville Cemetery.
