Robert D. Ordway, Jr. of Cochranville, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026.  He was 80 years old.  Born on July 3, 1945 in Los Angeles, California, he was the son of the late Robert Doucette Ordway and the late Doris Thomas Ordway. 

Bob earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Loyola Marymount University where he participated in ROTC.  After graduation, he served in the Air Force as a Nuclear Safety Officer and Captain at McGuire Air Force base.  He later went back to school and became a CPA.  Bob worked at American Equipment Leasing in Reading, Pennsylvania for over 20 years, retiring as the Chief Financial Officer.

He was the beloved husband of Maureen Ordway for 56 years; father of Claudine Hart (Patrick), Janette Ordway, Matthew Ordway (Heather) and Joseph Ordway; grandfather of Juliana, Amelia, Grace, Paige and Molly; brother of Thomas and Michael Ordway.  In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, William Ordway. 

Bob enjoyed camping, fishing, collecting coins, doing puzzles, and most of all spending time with his family.  He enjoyed vacations to the lake and beach where he could be found flying a kite with his grandkids.  Bob was a devoted husband, dad, and grandpa who will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30AM on Monday, June 15, 2026 at ASSUMPTION BVM CHURCH, 300 State Road, West Grove.  Burial will be private.
