Rosemary Angelucci

Rosemary A. Angelucci of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania passed away on August 13, 2022 at Brandywine Living at Longwood after a long illness.  She was 93 years old.

Born in Wilmington, Delaware, Rosemary was the daughter of Rocco Perrone and Margaret Perrone {nee-Guerrina}.

Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late Dominic A. “Skeets” Angelucci; mother of Jim (Sharon), Rick (Deirdre), Mary Luxon (Scott), Tony (Dawn Hopkins), Margaret Dunmeyer (Rich); grandmother of Brian (Alexis), Anita Bartoski (Dave), Rick (Liza), Adrienne Seery (Shane), Monica Angelucci (Garrett Brink), Rachel Dunmeyer, Derek Dunmeyer, Kira Pepe (Chris) and Skylar Rusk (Daniel); great-grandmother to 8; sister of Nancy Paproth.   She was predeceased by her sisters, Isabella Brun, Marguerite Garcia and Jane Bazzano.

Known for her kind heart and her gentle ways, Rosemary always put others before herself.  Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her family.  As a young mother, she loved having the neighborhood kids visit, leaving her children with cherished childhood memories. She was an incredible cook whose recipes were often requested.  She loved entertaining, traveling, music, golfing, playing cards and her friends.  In her later years, she enjoyed spending time reading to the little children at Tik Tok Early Learning Center.  She was active at the  Kennett Area Senior Center, where she served on the Board, participated as member and also as a volunteer.  A devout catholic in practice, Rosemary was active at St. Patrick’s Church and their Ladies of St. Patrick's group.

She was in all things a woman of strong faith, a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be dearly missed by all.

A viewing will be from 8:30 AM until 10:30AM with a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM on Monday, August 29, 2022 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 212 Meredith Street, Kennett Square.  Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Cemetery, North Union Street, Kennett Square.

The family respectfully requests that facial masks be worn during the viewing and Mass times of the services.
