Ruth Ann Horne

Ruth Ann Horne of Oxford, Pennsylvania passed away at Chester County Hospital on Saturday, April 9, 2022.  She was 82 years old.

Born in West Grove, Pennsylvania, Ruth was the daughter of Leon Edward Butler and Alta Hillsworth Butler.

Ruth was the beloved mother of the late Daniel L. Horne, Jr., Jeffery L. Horne (Becky), Kimberly A. Horne (Alfredo), Kenneth W. Horne, Susan L. Townsend (Edward), Kathy J. Reburn (Saul) and Carrie R. Stokes (Terrance); grandmother of Jamie, Brian, Dana, Eric, Jeremy, Jeffery, Emily, Jennifer, Joey, Krista, Brianna, Alyssa, Maria, Molly, Abby, Alex, Spencer, Danielle, Jason, Kyle, Lexi, Natalie, Tyler and Rozina; sister of Leon, William, John, Timothy, Nancy and Patricia.  She is also survived by her children's father, Daniel L. Horne, Sr.  Ruth was predeceased by her partner/companion of 38 years, Larry "Tinkey" Rice.

A viewing will be from 9:00AM until 11:00AM with a funeral service at 11:00AM on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at SAFE HARBOR BAPTIST CHURCH, 478 Daleville Road, Cochranville, Pennsylvania.  Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square.
