Sydney Aaron Obituary

Sydney Edna Aaron (née Davies) of Cochranville, PA left this life for the next on March 25th, 2023, at 81 years old.

Sydney was born on November 15, 1941, in Chester, Pennsylvania to parents Sydney Davies and Dorothy Comly Davies. She was the oldest of three children, with two younger brothers Tom and George. Sydney met her husband, Edwin (Pete) Aaron, in her teenage years and found they attended the same church, Lynwood United Methodist. Sydney and Pete dated as teenagers, married in 1961, and started a family.

When not working or spending time with her family, Sydney enjoyed a fruitful life and was very active and involved with Cochranville United Methodist Church. Sydney had many close relationships and touched many lives through her involvement with the church. She also had a passion and talent for music, playing piano, and a beautiful singing voice. Over the years she was asked to sing at many weddings and funerals. She sang in her church’s choir and participated in the community group, The Golden Agers, performing for local seniors and retirement communities for many years. Her voice now joins the angels of God’s perfect choir where she will sing forever.

Sydney and Pete also had a cottage in Canada where they would vacation. They enjoyed spending summer and especially fall there with their friends and neighbors on the lake. Sydney was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She cared deeply for her family and those close to her. Sydney was predeceased by both her parents and her brother George. Sydney is survived by her husband, Pete; her daughter, Gayle Wagner (née Aaron and husband Jed Wagner); son, Edwin (Paul) Aaron II; daughter, Sheryl Tristani (née Aaron, and husband Steve Tristani); and five grandchildren, Jake, Josh, and Jared Wagner, and Sydney and Stephen Tristani.

Her burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Aston will be private by the family.

Sydney will be honored with a celebration of life on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Wyncote Golf club, where a luncheon will be served.  Please RSVP the family at saaron739@gmail.com to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sydney’s name to Willow Tree Hospice of Kennett Square, PA.
