Thomas Piotrowski Obituary

Thomas P. Piotrowski of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania passed away at home on Monday, December 27, 2021.  He was 72 years old.

Tom Piotrowski began his career as an Architect in America in 1978 bringing his outstanding design capabilities and his keen eye for aesthetics to H2L2, a prominent Philadelphia Architecture firm.  He became a Principal/Partner of H2L2 in charge of the Infrastructure Division with a vast legacy of bridge projects including the Palm-Jumeirah Gateway Bridge in Dubai, Hoover Dam Bypass Corridor Bridge, Royal Park Bridge of West Palm Beach, Quinnipac Bridge (formerly Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge), Flagler Bridge replacement of Palm Beach and the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge Segment Replacement.  He had a Masters of Engineering Science in Architectural Urban Design from Wroclaw Univerisity of Technology, Wroclaw, Poland and a Masters of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. 

He was a beloved husband to Linda, father to Victoria and grandfather to Nikolai and Aleksander.  His love and joy of family, friends, bridge design, and skiing will be missed by all who had the opportunity to cross his path.
