Warren Lee Lapham passed away peacefully at his home in West Grove, PA on Friday, September 24, 2021, at the age of 60. Born in Bristol, PA, Warren was the son of Norman Lapham and Frances (Setting).
Warren (Lap) was a 1979 graduate of Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, PA and was a lifelong resident of Levittown before moving to West Grove to raise his family. Warren worked as the manager of the UPS Store in the Philadelphia Airport for over 20 years. “The Mayor” as he was jokingly known was an avid Philadelphia sports fan who loved watching the Eagles, Flyers, Sixers and Phillies. Year after year he drafted a fantasy team with such high hopes. His greatest joy however came from watching his sons on the court or in the field. Warren spent many years in the dugouts of all four of his boys earning himself the title of one of the best scorebook keepers in AGLL. He traveled, he froze, he sat in unbearable heat and got drenched on to watch his boys shine. His family meant the world to him.
In addition to his parents Norman Lapham (Kathy) and Frances Connolly (Mike), Warren leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 25 years, Connie. He was the loving father of Timothy Jr.(Christine Walsh), Evan, Dylan and Gavin; grandfather of Skylie, Madison, Timothy III and Bryce; brother of William Lapham (Cecilia) and Rose Trimber (Joseph); brother-in-law of Jeffrey Park and Gregory Park (Christine) and son-in-law of Jacquelyn Oxenford. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.
Visitation with the family will be from 10:00AM until 11:00AM with a memorial service at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the LONGWOOD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION of MATTHEW GENEREUX, 913 East Baltimore Pike, Kennett Square. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Warren’s name to Penn Medicine Hospice Friends Fund. https://giving.apps.upenn.edu/fund?program=MC&fund=843419&appeal=PMWEB
