William Comfort, II of Coatesville, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025. He was 38 years old. Born in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, he was the beloved son of William Comfort and MaryLynn Cannon Comfort of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.
Throughout his life, Billy was cherished by his family and friends. He earned his degree in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy University, where he loved connecting with patients and bringing a smile to their faces. Later, Billy worked as a Senior Client Advisor at the 1916 Company, where he is remembered not only for his talent and accomplishments, but for his contagious happiness. He was an artist who loved painting, and he also found joy in camping, the outdoors, travel, golf, photography, and music. Billy was always up for an adventure with his friends, who considered him a brother. Above all, Billy loved his family. He delighted in family celebrations, especially Christmas Eve in matching pajamas, and time spent with his loving parents, sister, brother-in-law, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Billy cherished the role of being a loving uncle to his niece Ella and nephew Ryan. They adored their Uncle Bill, and always will.
Billy will be remembered by all who knew him for his beautiful smile, his laughter, and his caring, generous spirit. He lit up every room, and he will continue to light the way for his loved ones as they carry on his legacy.
In addition to his parents who survive him, Billy was the cherished brother of Jamie Comfort Atkins (Timothy) and beloved uncle of Ella and Ryan Atkins. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Bernard and RoseAnn Cannon. Billy was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Norman and Margaret Comfort.
A memorial service will be at 11:00AM on Monday, December 22, 2025 at WILLOWDALE CHAPEL, 675 Unionville Road, Kennett Square. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Burial will be private.
