Dona Lou Romano passed away on March 2, 2013 at Christiana Hospital.  She was 81 years old.

Born in Bismark, North Dakota and raised in Sioux Falls, she was the daughter of the late Milton Prang, Sr. and the late Ercil Stahl Prang.

In her working career, Dona was employed by Christana Hospital as a unit clerk.  She retired in 1993.  Dona enjoyed crafting and crocheting.  She will be deeply missed by her family. 

She is the beloved mother of James Mead and his wife Michele, Jill Casula and her husband James, Jayne Felish and her husband Robert, Judy Balascio and her husband Albert, Jerry Mead and his wife Sharon and the late Jenifer Stevens and her husband David; grandmother of 15; great-grandmother of 5; sister of 4.

A funeral service will be offered at 11:00AM on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, 15 Polly Drummond Hill Road in Newark, Delaware 19711.  Visitation with the family will be held in the church from 10:00AM until 11:00AM.  A memorial luncheon will follow the funeral service.  Burial will be private.
